These blankets are the foundation to most servicemembers initial experience with the military life in recruit training. They are efficient, practical, and long lasting, however, this does come with a few downsides. They are not luxuriously soft, nor are they light weight. They WILL provide warmth even when wet and they are incredibly durable. 

Whether you throw one over your Litefighter tent but under the rainfly to provide a cost effective 4 season capability, keep one in the bottom of your pack for a ground pad for your sleeping system, or you use it as the foundation for an old school bed roll, the uses and possibilities are truly endless. They even feature natural fire-retardant properties!

We recommend at least one if not two of these blankets for everyone in your group. They make fantastic car blankets for trips and emergencies, as well as general preparedness items. Cut a hole in the middle and wear them as a poncho!
