Orc Industries M81 Woodland Rain Jacket

First off, Luke and the OT team are great. They had mediums listed, so I ordered one, but their supplier only gave them large. Luke was quick to message me to offer solutions. I’ve been buying from OT for years so I trust anything from them and always appreciate their customer service. I took the large. I’m honestly very happy with the large. It’s definitely bigger than I prefer but I can wear it over an assault pack or bulkier clothing. Some of the seam tape is dried and cracking (due to being in storage for probably a long time) but an easy fix. Can’t recommend this jacket enough!

For what it is, this is one of the best values out there. This jacket is coated nylon, has pit zippers to increase airflow, and very low maintenance. In my opinion, Coated nylon is better than Gore - Tex type of fabrics in heavy rainfall, muddy conditions. It is low maintenance and will always keep the water out. Not always true with "breathable, waterproof" fabrics. In addition, the exterior surface has a rougher texture that does not shine. Plus it is lighter than multi-layer fabrics. I live in the Pacific Northwest, and when it is full on rain conditions, I always grab this coat.
