Bought these to go with their mini-me little brothers. Both sizes are identical in function and length of cord—both have a small hiding place in the center of the spool to does, in fact, hold a regular Bic lighter (the smaller cord spools sold at OTS can also hold a Bic Mini) or other survival gear (like fishing hooks and sinkers, fire starter tabs, you name it)! For anyone interested, these larger spools will also fit in a single M-4 pouch to take along attached to your kit. Keep up the great work finding these all-American products!
