Bladder style hydration carriers offer much convenience but that comes with some irrefutable downsides as well. Bladders are harder to keep clean, they are far more fragile, and they are not as easy to fill/refill or collect water from natural sources. 

This kit contains everything you need to use a USGI 2-quart canteen as a hydration carrier.

Note: a 100 Round M60 or 200 round SAW pouch fits a 2qt canteen perfectly as does the Dutch Small Woodland General Purpose Pouch. This kit will also work with a 1qt canteen with the replacement cap included with the kit.
