At first I was a little worried the buckle was not going to work but I persuaded it open with channellock pliers. Everything seems to be in working order now. The pouch looks to be in good shape.

good pouch for a good price
I put this on an lbv 88 as a 3 day rig and it fits comfort items and more food nicely but doesn't act like a backpack which I fill till the zippers bust habitually. Fits the essentials and keeps the whole rig under 35lbs, which is nice.
