The USMC Accordion Sleeping Mat is a lightweight, durable, and field-tested foam pad designed for comfort and insulation in rugged conditions. Issued to U.S. Marines, this closed-cell foam mat folds accordion-style for easy packing and quick deployment. It provides ground insulation and added comfort under sleeping bags or bivy sacks, making it ideal for camping, bug-out setups, and military surplus collectors. Tough, water-resistant, and ready for any terrain.

Specs:

Crafted from durable closed-cell polyethylene foam, it compactly folds from 72″x23″ to 5″x5 1/4″x23″ thanks to the accordion-style design. The packed mat reduces volume by 20% and lays flat for quick packing, providing uncompromised insulation and padding. Weighs only approximately 1.3lbs.

OTSurplus is great!

This accordion mat is as advertised. The used condition was expected and is still more than serviceable for camping & other outdoor activities. I have bought from OTS many times and will always recommend their store!
