ECWCS Gen III Level 6 Wet Weather Trousers – USGI Waterproof Shell Pants
ECWCS Gen III Level 6 Wet Weather Trousers – USGI Waterproof Shell Pants
The ECWCS Gen III Level 6 UCP Wet Weather Trousers are genuine U.S. military-issued waterproof shell pants designed for protection in heavy rain, wind, snow, and wet field conditions. Part of the Extended Cold Weather Clothing System (ECWCS) Gen III, Level 6 garments serve as the outer weather barrier layer and are built for reliable performance in demanding environments.
These trousers are designed to be worn over base layers, uniforms, or workwear. Constructed as lightweight waterproof overpants, they are ideal for hunting, hiking, camping, jobsite use, preparedness kits, and everyday foul-weather protection.
Common features include full or partial side leg zippers for easier on/off over boots, adjustable waist tabs or elastic sections, pass-through pocket access, reinforced seams, and durable weather-resistant fabric. Unlike insulated pants, these are intended as a protective shell layer that packs small and performs when conditions turn bad.
The ECWCS Gen III Level 6 trouser remains one of the best-value military surplus rain gear options available.
