The new canteens are Made in America and are produced by the USGI supplier. We really like the idea of turning these into durable hydration carriers as part of a survival rig or simply to avoid all of the bladder failures common with those types of carriers.

It's a 2qt container

It is a 2qt container that is what is pictured. It is not a military 2qt though if thats what you may be looking for. The corners are very rigid and it will not be collapsing down except in a single diagonal line. Its not bad i gave them to the kids. It's just not what you would have gotten from the pk or supply.

Thank you for your review! These canteeens are produced in Kansas by Hayes Tooling & Plastics which is one of several government contractors for 1qt and 2qt canteens. We purchase them in bulk directly from the source to ensure we are not carrying counterfeit gear inadvertently. They are a bit stiffer than the Skilcraft canteens, however, we also do not have any new Skilcraft canteens to compare them too, only used ones. .
